Vector 2.1.04 Installer

If you are the owner of a Vector license or licenses then please make sure that all your systems are upgraded to this new version.

If you are an operator of Vector systems then please ensure that any system you are working with has been upgraded to this version. You can see the version number by going to the Help menu and then clicking on About.

This is a free upgrade for all existing Vector users.

• Libra Loadcells can now be read, displayed and acted upon from within Vector.
• Channel overload and underload values can be set which will trigger a Group Halt if activated.
• New Group Halting algorithm, all motors in a group are always stopped if their positions drift relative to each other even if some are not moving.
• Group Halt Bypass possible by holding down the ALT key while running to allow easy re-alignment of tripped groups.
• Group Halt Window for each group.
• Group Overload and Underload option when using loadcells.
• Improved Licensing system. The same installer can be used in Demo, Workshop and Live modes.
• Improved Logging, more keystrokes and actions are now recorded to the log files.
• Simulation mode indication set by Status field turning Yellow rather than entire windows.
• Fixed bug in Graphics mode that could cause incorrect selections when the direction was being inverted.
• Increased the default size of the Playback Bar, double click on the bar to reduce to its original size.
• Fixed bug that did not exclude Personality access when Channel Properties permissions were turned off.
• Login window now appears in the Taskbar so you don't lose Vector behind other windows while logging in
• Various minor GUI bug fixes.

If you are using Elevation 1+ units we recommend also upgrading to the latest version of firmware released, which is available here.

Licensing

Once Vector is installed on your machine you have 3 days to license it , when that period is over you will not be able to use Vector until it has been licensed. 
There are 2 types of license available.

Demo - Free


To obtain a demo Vector license you can use the link presented in the Vector Licensing Window, which will auto generate an email with the correct details in.
Alternatively you can email unlockcode@kinesys.co.uk, please include the unlock code presented in the Vector Licensing Window.

The key you are given to unlock Vector is only valid for the machine that the unlock code was generated from. It is not possible to use the same Vector license key on multiple machines. To do this you will need to obtain multiple licenses.
