The Elevation Smart 8 adds intelligence to the Elevation Power 8 to create an all-in-one fully-featured eight-channel chain hoist controller with position control capabilities.

The Smart 8 uses the power switching core of the Power 8 as its starting point and then adds never before seen levels of functionality to enable it to become the most flexible and powerful hoist controller on the market.

The Smart 8 accepts both high resolution incremental encoders or more basic pulse encoders (Skjonberg-style) to provide positional feedback. Load cells can be connected to provide continuous monitoring of point loading.

Cues can be programmed and stored using the built-in menu system, or by using Kinesys K2 or Vector software on an external computer. Moves can then be run using the GO button, external computer, remote interface, or a DMX trigger. This extraordinary level of connectivity makes the Smart 8 a truly universal chain hoist controller.
